What Are The Main Metaverse Platforms

The insane popularity of metaverse has brought a wave of investment opportunities from digital real estate to digital goods. Let’s have a look at the main metaverse platforms.

The rise of the metaverse has recently ushered in a new era of investment opportunities in everything from digital real estate to digital designer goods. Investors have reacted positively to the cryptosphere’s increasing sophistication. Let’s have a look at the main metaverse platforms.

The space’s oldest occupant.

It’s a single Metaverse layer that’s been evenly divided into a grid. LAND is the name given to each coordinate.

Every piece of LAND is the same size and has the same constraints. Users can create Estates by combining their colliding LAND. Users can create districts to help them coordinate their efforts, and these districts can operate as separate entities/companies. There is a finite amount of LAND available, and there is no way to create more unless the community requests it through the Decentraland DAO.

On February 20, 2020, the world was opened. The project began with Esteban Ordano and Ari Merlich, two highly experienced blockchain and high-end technology experts who were instrumental in developing and promoting the concept.

The Decentraland Foundation, a new entity focused on listening to community needs, is now in charge of the project. The majority of the team is based in Argentina. This project has put a lot of effort into forming partnerships and collaborations with leading blockchain and crypto projects around the world; there are already a number of virtual headquarters in place, with more to come in the coming months. They have a Decentraland MANA ($MANA) erc20 token that is probably the strongest of all the platforms and is listed on the most well-known exchanges.

The project has been taken over by the Decentraland Foundation, a new organization dedicated to listening to community needs. Argentina is home to the majority of the team. This project has spent a significant amount of time and effort forming partnerships and collaborations with leading blockchain and crypto projects around the world; there are already a number of virtual headquarters in place, with more to follow in the coming months. They have an erc20 token called Decentraland MANA ($MANA) that is the most powerful of all the platforms and trades on the most well-known exchanges.

A project inspired by Minecraft.

It’s a single Metaverse layer that’s been divided into plots and islands in an uneven manner.

Origin City is the main island, and it has a limited supply of parcels.

As a means of funding the project, their team is constantly creating new islands and parcels.
Every plot is unique in terms of size and constraints.

In July of this year, the world was wide open.

Ben Nolan, the one and only. This New Zealand entrepreneur started the project from the ground up and now has a team assisting him in realizing his vision. On Discord and Twitter, they are very active listeners.

You must go to CryptoVoxels if you want to be inspired quickly.
CryptoArtists from all over the world have taken control of this platform in 2020, creating mind-blowing content. There are many art galleries around the world, and the community is very active. On Crypto-Metaverse, this project has had the best boarding experience so far.

There are numerous art and business-related events around the world, but there is no centralized way to locate them; instead, you must follow each micro community separately.

They don’t have any coins.

It has a small wearable economy, but generating new tokens has been shut down several times due to Ethereum gas fees, making it difficult for creators to generate consistent revenue. The platform for micro-blogging in the home. I’m a big fan of your 3D house blog. In order to attract more BUILDERS, the team sets prices based on FIAT. Many companies and influencers have plots in their CVs as well, but the majority of plots are created by artists to showcase their work. It’s incredible to see how many islands are being built these days.

Project focusing on high-end devices.

It’s a single Metaverse layer that’s been divided unevenly into different plots along an already-created map, which includes some islands. Each plot is unique in terms of size and constraints. Every now and then, the team will release new land.

On February 20, 2020, the world was open.

Somnium Worlds, a new proposal for owning entire Metaverse layers, is also part of the project.
However, there is currently little information available on this. The project was started with a very successful IndieGoGo campaign back in the day, and it was funded by serial entrepreneur Artur Sychov. Based in Prague, the beautiful city in the heart of Europe. The project’s main selling point is its stunning image rendering.

Somnium is for you if you have a high-end VR device.

On their Discord, the community is small but cozy, and they are very active and welcoming.

They also have an event page where they can keep track of all the activities. There are art galleries and private land to be found there.

There is a Somnium Builder that works extremely well; it is very similar to the Sims building creator tool and allows you to create your own place out of pre-generated assets. There is Unity SDK for Somnium in the works, but no release date has been set.

Early blockchain enthusiasts and celebrities have a virtual Beverly Hills neighbor. The cost of a Somnium parcel has risen dramatically in the last year. Although the community is small, it is active and well-connected. The world appears to be a greenfield, similar to The Sims.

WAX (Worldwide Asset Exchange)

WAX is one of the best platforms for Metaverse crypto projects on the market. The entire blockchain has been designed with crypto gaming in mind, and it works seamlessly with dApps and GameFi projects.

Atomic Hub, the leading marketplace used by most WAX-based games, is one of the most active NFT marketplaces in crypto.

Alien Worlds, one of the world’s most popular crypto games, is now available on the WAX blockchain. Alien Worlds is the second most popular dApp on the market, with over 1.4 million users in the last 30 days, followed by PancakeSwap.

One cool feature of WAX is that instead of paying transaction fees, users can stake their WAX tokens to receive CPU and RAM power to complete transactions.

WAX is currently trading at $0.45 per share, with a 24-hour trading volume of $33 million. WAX is currently a highly undervalued project, with a market cap of only $853 million.

WAX is available for purchase on Binance, KuCoin, Bithumb, Huobi Global, Bittrex, Crypto.com, and other exchanges.

IoTeX is a scalable and privacy-focused blockchain infrastructure for the Internet of Things, as the name suggests. The IoTeX blockchain, which powers the network, has its own native token, IOTX.

Hundreds of exchanges, wallets, and other unique projects make up the IoTeX ecosystem. StarCrazy, a blockchain-based play-to-earn NFT game that allows users to earn GFT tokens, is one of my personal favorites.

The IoPay Web3.0 wallet is available on Android and iOS devices through IoTeX. IoPay is a simple way for anyone to get into the IoTeX ecosystem.

IoTeX is trading at $0.124 at the time of writing, up over 5% in the last 24 hours. It has a market capitalization of $1.1 billion and a daily trading volume of $85 million.

Solana is a new platform that debuted in April of this year. CoinMarketCap, on the other hand, did not begin tracking its price until April 2020.

Since then, Solana’s ecosystem and platform have continued to grow, resulting in incredible price gains. Solana has a lot to offer.

With similar smart contract capabilities and DeFi applications, Solana has been dubbed an Ethereum competitor. With dozens of dApps and Metaverse projects launching on the platform, Solana has a thriving ecosystem.

Raydium, FTX, Magic Eden, Orca, and other dApps are among the most popular on Solana. Solana’s ecosystem is expanding on a daily basis, with new games being released on its platform.

At the time of writing, Solana was trading at $179, up 1.83 percent in the previous 24 hours.

Polygon is an Ethereum sidechain. It’s the ideal platform for Metaverse crypto projects because MATIC can take advantage of Ethereum’s interoperability and security while also providing low-cost transactions.

Arc8 by GAMEE, Crazy Defense Heroes, and Idle Mystic are some of the most popular Metaverse projects on Polygon.

Polygon is an ideal solution for Metaverse crypto projects that were originally launched on Ethereum before the gas fees skyrocketed.

Polygon is currently trading at $2.29, up 5.21 percent over the last 24 hours. It has a market capitalization of $16 billion and a daily trading volume of $2.2 billion.

MATIC is available for purchase on Binance, Coinbase Exchange, KuCoin, FTX, Kraken, Bitfinex, Crypto.com, and other exchanges.

The Binance Smart Chain

The Binance Smart Chain is one of the most widely used Metaverse crypto blockchains. Binance Smart Chain, backed by one of the most reputable and popular cryptocurrency exchanges, provides low-cost and high-speed transactions.

Because the token standards and smart contract code are so similar, BSC is an excellent Ethereum alternative. The majority of recent CoinMarketCap tokens, particularly the Metaverse and meme coins, are all deployed on BSC.

PancakeSwap, Kill Rich, Bomb Crypto, CryptoMines, and many other dApps are among the most popular on BSC. Over the last 30 months, PancakeSwap has accumulated over 4 million users, making it the most popular dApp in crypto.

Binance Smart Chain does not have a BSC coin; instead, Binance is the underlying cryptocurrency that powers the blockchain.
