Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) are getting more and more popular every day. If you haven’t heard about it yet, it is the original version of a product with a special certificate of authenticity. They are sold in blockchains mainly in Etherium.

NFTs differ from any other kind of coin. You can sell everything as NFT, starting from something simple to something extraordinary. As long as it’s original, it can be considered as NFT.

NFT became popular throughout 2021. Various things were sold as NFTs, but currently, all the attention is concentrated on the digital arts. Pieces of art that are worth millions of dollars are sold as jpeg files, and famous people and influencers are getting involved in this new hype.

Quantum by Kevin McCoy - $1.6 Million

Quantum is famous for both its colors and for being the first NFT ever created. This artwork represents the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth. You can see that representation through lines and colors. Bidders from all over the world were mainly attracted by its story. Kevin McCoy was the first who revealed digital art to the world. He was sure that digital art was underrated and people needed to pay attention to it. At the same time, he never wanted to start this digital art hype.

The Replicator by Mad Dog Jones - $4 Million

The Replicator is a story about a photocopy that works on its own through generations. This piece of art represents the changes in technology throughout the years. Stay Free by Edward Snowden - $5.4 Million

Again Beeple. He is well known for his inspiring and unique artworks. The most expensive is Everydays - The first 5000 Days. It is a collage of 5000 pieces of his work. Since 2007 he promised himself that he would create one work each day. There is no need to say that this piece of art deserves all the attention and price given.

The Merge - $91.8 Million

An interesting turn of events made the anonymous artist Pak's 'The Merge' largest ever art sale by a living creator. It fetched a whopping $91.8 million on Nifty Gateway, with 28,983 collectors grabbing up 312,686 total units of mass, otherwise NFTs.
In a nutshell: it allowed potential customers to buy “stakes” that could be made into a greater “mass” toward the end. The starting price for each started at $299 for pre-existing buyers who owned work by Pak, subsequently increasing to $575 as the event opened to the public and by an additional $25 USD each hour until the sale ended.

All the records concerning the highest price NFTs are stored in the Etherium blockchain. Each NFT has a unique certificate of authenticity, which differs from others.

There is no need to say that NFTs are getting more and more popular every day, but the question is how long? Nobody knows what will be the highest price for them. As time shows people are eager to pay good money to get an exclusive NFT. So if you have any NFT you can end up with an immense fortune.
